Connect WEB offers community and voluntary groups in the County a FREE website! It couldn’t be easier, we will set up the structure of your site without any fuss or cost to you. We give you your website & you add your own content & keep it updated as required.

The aim is to build and enhance community structures through the use of computers and the Internet. The project will enable community groups to have a web presence – a series of web pages known as a website.

Whilst many groups have expressed an interest in using the Internet to promote the activities of their group, to increase membership, to advertise events etc., some have encountered a number of obstacles, for example lack of funding or computer knowledge. Connect WEB allows your community group to overcome these difficulties and provides the group with a website and the relevant training.

By creating and maintaining your own website, there are numerous ways in which your group can benefit:

Each participating Community Group will have to nominate two people from the group who will be responsible for updating the Group’s website. The Group will be given a template and can then input the relevant information.
